Welcome to Cosy Cottage, I’m Kai, and this is my mum Morgan. We live in a sunny little cottage in Waverley, Dunedin, where we have a relaxed and fun lifestyle every day!

We set up our business to provide a safe and loving family environment for dogs to come and live with us while their owners are away. It is important to both of us that all our furry guests feel comfortable knowing they are welcome, well cared for and have a familiar lifestyle and place to stay.

I’m responsible for the fun part like making friends, playing and going on adventures together, while Morgan is responsible for the serious stuff like feeding, supervising us and making sure we are happy, healthy and safe, (she’s pretty good at cuddles and making sure we have pudding every night too!). She is a certified vet nurse who has years of experience looking after and training animals. She takes care of not only our physical needs but also our emotional needs, so we feel comfortable, loved and secure.

We hang out with Morgan most of the time, have inside and outside access and go on adventures to the local beach or park. We each have big comfy beds in the lounge where we sleep at night and over winter the fire is generally going so we keep warm and snuggly, it’s a pretty cosy lifestyle.

We have an extended family of doggos who love to come and stay with us, they look forward to coming, settle in happily and are now a regular part of our family. Short term or long term, we love them staying and we hope you come to stay with us soon too!
